Cholistan and Chitral

Cholistan and Chitral, anyone who has seen them, will probably tell you are as different as day and night - one being a dessert and the other being in the mighty hindukush. The two things however, they have in common for me are:

1. I haven't been to either.

2. Im dying to go to both of them.

During the day I plan my trips in my head, during the night I dream about them... While with people I ask whether someone has been there... and while on computer I blog about them.

The Unfamiliar Familiar

My Turkish friends almost always ask me where this beautiful picture is from... I guess they haven't quite ever seen Isteklal street through my eyes... Beautiful, Busy and Liberating. This day I fell in love with Istanbul all over again. Wandering up and down Taksim, cherishing the couple of hours that popped up free god knows where from.

The Istanbul Sunset

This image of Sunset is one of the many ‘taken through the hotel window’ images in my life recently. While staying at the Beautiful Marmara hotel in Taksim, Istanbul… I observed this sunset from far while preparing for a strategy meeting the following day.
