One of the members of the ‘fresh’ and young blooded board of Fashion Pakistan, Sanam Chaudhri is a designer par excellence who has in a short while become a house hold name through her subtle chic ‘never trying too hard’ aesthetic. Trained at the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture, Sanam started her career with the leading architect Naheed Mashooqullah. In 2008, she established her own label and started stocking at LABELS the multibrand store. As testament to her uncompromising drive and superlative creativity, Sanam has been nominated twice for LSA Best Pret Design (2011 and 2012), presented with the Ladies Fund Award for Achievement in Fashion Design (2012), and nominated as one of the Ponds Miracle Journey Women (2014). Since then, this talented designer has never looked back. Here she speaks to us about her collection for the Fashion Pakistan Week Autumn Winter 2014.
