Before I start, here is what you need to know (just in case you don’t) Conde Nast is one of the bigger media groups in the world owning recognizable mass media brands including the ‘oh so loved’ Vogue – Following Mr. Conde Montrose Nast’s acquisition of Vogue Magazine, which he bought from it’s previous owners who started it in 1892 as a fashion and society news journal, the Conde Nast Group flourished and currently owns and runs some of the most recognizable publications and digital properties including Style.com, WWD, Vogue, GQ, Glamour, Vanity Fair in addition to a good 50 odd holdings in US and the World.
Schon Magazine, was initially started as an online magazine to celebrate ‘international creative talent’ in 2009. It rapidly grew into a luxurious printed publication with an annual global circulation of over 92, 000. Schön! is now distributed internationally in 13 countries, with the main focus on the UK, USA and Europe, while the online magazine is visited by a quarter of a million unique users from all over the world.

Now that I’ve established that it is a fairly big deal, I can move on to my usual excitement. At this point you can either get excited like I am or choose to be skeptical… however, the HSY skirt clearly caught the eye of some seriously fancy international stylist (Laurent Dombrowicz – who has worked with the likes of Lanvin and Alexander McQueen) AND managed to find it’s way in this shoot along with the likes of Versace, Chanel, Tom Ford, DSquared, Maison Martin Margiela, Jean Paul Gaultier and a whole lot more.
