Weddings are the perfect time to dress up and look your absolute best with all the friends and family around, and while we don’t really get the time to play eastern in our day-to-day routine, this wedding season is the much needed reason and excuse that I needed to doll up. So, for a family wedding, I wanted to donne a festive, beautiful and chic look, but with a tinge of traditional style. So I headed over to a few of my favourite designers who I knew would make me look my utmost best and end 2017 on a celebratory note. personal style

Baraat Look:

The baraat is a semi fomal occasion I decided to opt for a modern look. My pick for the night was a beautiful silhouette by Karma. The dress shirt had a short hemline from front and a long from the back giving the shirt a structured look to add more height. To accentuate the dress, the shirt and border of the bell bottoms were embellished with gotta and dabka. Statement earrings by Hamna Amir, gold and ganga jamni jhumkay and shoes by Shoe Planet finished the look.
