With a Fashion Marketing & Merchandising Degree from Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design , Zainab Salman started working under the label of her own name in 2011. Launching a lawn collection in March 2015, she stepped into the market, followed by two other Luxury Pret campaigns the same year.
Moon struck, Zainab Salman’s debut collection at FPW16, is a compilation of cuts and intricate details.The collection has been inspired by a ‘Mid Summer Night’s Dream’ that show cases a summer night’s love not to be forgotten . Fabrics have been molded into architectural folds and pleats , yet there are some pieces that have softly flowing layers . The collection is predominantly based in delicate sheer organzas; the fabric itself exuding understated glamour . Each piece has been stitched to perfection with meticulous Swarovski and pearl embellishments . Beautiful embroideries and prints have been incorporated . Soft pastel hues bring a very innocent feel to the whole collection that would make you want to fall in love with each piece .
