June 15, 2023

Eid-ul-Adha calls for delicious and delectable Eid desserts so we’re excited to culminate this revered day with 7 easy Eid dessert recipes to try so you can enjoy with your family and friends replacing the traditional Eid desserts, which is essentially the Sheer Khorma.

However, people now also love trying out new dishes that can become a part of their tradition. So the 7 easy Eid dessert recipes to try also include some popular dishes and new ones that are not just easy to make but they also taste good.

Therefore, for this Eid-ul-Adha we’re giving you some inspiration for what you can make for Eid desserts and how you can style those desserts.

Kunafa Cups

Kunafa is a much revered middle eastern dessert that has crossed over into South Asian households because of it’s unique flavour. Much credit also goes to Pakistani’s traveling to Turkey and and falling in love with Kunafa for this syrupy, nutty and creamy dessert.

Cold Coffee No Bake Cake

The cold coffee no bake cake is one of those recipes that every family member knows at the back of their head because its made with the simplest of ingredients that are readily available. I’ve made it many times and it’s always a hit. The only key is to serve it CHILLED!

Rice Kheer Shots

Passed on from the Mughals to us, Rice Kheer has many faces and is a versatile dish because you can incorporate fruits and nuts to saffrom, kewra and even chandi ka warq. It’s such an easy dish to make and is always a hit on Eid. So whether you serve it warm or chilled, in a thooti or glass shot – enjoy it.

Rose Water And Pistachio Firni

The firni is also a middle eastern dish that may have originated from ancient Persia or somewhere in the middle east that also is a regular dessert to be served.

Alan Davidson — in The Oxford Companion to Food — defines firni as:

“A sweet milky dessert, to be eaten cold, made either with corn-flour or rice flour or sometimes both, and usually flavoured with rose water and/or ground cardamom. The dish is decorated with chopped or ground almonds or pistachio nuts.”

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

The Tres Leches or Milk Cake is a Latin American dessert that’s quickly made it’s way into every bakery. It’s actually a light air sponge cake that’s covered with 3  kinds of milk using evaporated milk, condensed milk and heavy cream and doesn’t really require butter or oil. You’ll find several recipes online.

Lab-e-Shireen

Lab-e-Shireen is a famous Arabic dessert that is also made on Eid. This is rich flavored custard with vermicelli ,fresh fruits, dried fruits, fresh cream, and jelly. It tastes best when its nicely chill.

Fresh Fig Cake With Walnuts And Honey

This aromatic Fresh Fig Cake with Walnuts and Honey is bursting with summer flavors.

The tartness of the fresh figs, with the crunchy walnuts and the sweetness of honey, are perfectly balanced to create an unforgettable cake.

Not only does this cake smell amazing, but it also tastes delectably divine. The best thing is that you can easily find ingredients to make this cake in your pantry.
