Meri Shehzadi continues to rule people’s hearts as the drama serial stands apart from the rest due to its strong premise and adorable performances. While the show revolves around a political premise, it is much more than that. It focuses on the complexity of relationships and how at times they can affect the well-being of certain individuals. The show is directed by Qasim Ali Mureed and written by Zajnabeel Asim Shah.
DR. HASSAN STANDS BY DANIA IN HER TOUGH TIME
Dr. Hassan’s (Farhan Saeed) mother gives good company to Dania at the hospital. Dania’s life returns to normal, she spends quality time with her grandfather Sanaullah (Manzoor Qureshi), and her children. He appreciates the efforts of Dr. Hassan for standing by their side through thick and thin. Dr. Hassan continues to woo Dania. He arrives at her place early morning and surprises her with a bouquet. He advises her to not take the stress and can call him any time for anything.
DR. HASSAN CELEBRATES DANIA’S SUCCESS
Shahana (Atiqa Odho) gets badly exposed due to her cheap antics. The party leader isn’t happy with her performance and asks her to resign as the CM. On the contrary, Dania gets an official call for an important meeting wherein she will be appointed as the CM. Dr. Hassan congratulates and celebrates Dania’s success with confectioneries. Instead of being happy Dania handles the situation with modesty and tells him that it’s not appropriate to be happy about someone else’s defeat. Dr. Hassan says that he is happy for her win as she has gone through a lot and still showed patience. It’s her time to rise and shine.
DANIA CHOOSES TO SERVE HUMANITY
The party chairman offers Dania to be the CM but she refuses. The latter explains that people like her and that she has their sympathy. She elaborates that she stayed because she wanted to help people. She feels that if she becomes the CM, her in-laws would counterattack her and that doesn’t suit her. She’s an ordinary woman who wants to work for ordinary people. Dania sticks to her decision and leaves the premises.
SIDDYSAYS THINKS
Despite Urwa Hocane being the epicenter of the show, Farhan Saeed as Dr. Hassan leaves a huge mark and impresses the audience big time. It goes on to show how secure Farhan Saeed is as an actor. He can shine even with limited screen time. Very few actors in the industry can pull off a supporting part with elan. Farhan Saeed as Dr. Hassan is someone to admire and look up to. Watch him in the scene where he brings a bouquet for Dania and expresses his feelings. In a society that has misogynist men in abundance, there are pure and sincere souls like Dr. Hasaan too. He shines in emotional and confrontational issues. His communication through eyes is a testimony of his supreme acting skills.
