HUM TVs Jhok Sarkar is a whiff of fresh air for viewers who are willing to watch diverse genres. The drama serial generates a much-needed relief from the run-of-the-mill content being aired on prime time. Featuring the versatile Farhan Saeed aka ASP Arsalan, a fearless police officer who gets posted in Jhok Sial, a small district plagued with the misuse of power. He puts his best foot forward to disrupt the illegal proceedings and hopes that justice will be served. Jhok Sarkar is written by Hashim Nadeem, directed by Safie Hassan and is an MD production.
ASP Arsalan Is Attacked
The episode opens with ASP Arsalan (Farhan Saeed) getting attacked by the goons sent by Jahan Dad (Malik Raza). The ASP beats them and orders an inquiry about the incident. As decided, the police force starts their fitness regime. He further meets the officials of nearby districts to have a better understanding of Jhok Sial. ASP Arsalan’s further takes care of the budget issues that are a big hurdle in the efficiency and performance of the police force.
Peeral is Miffed By ASP Arsalan’s Posting
The news of ASP Arsalan’s arrival reaches the feudal lords Peeral (Asif Razam Mir) and Meeral (Usman Javed). Jahan Dad reveals the entire scenario to them, Miraal however is aggressive and expresses his anger but Piraal handles the matter cleverly. With all his experience he plans to harass him at a suitable time. He is aware that ASP Arsalan has joined the police force on a merit basis. If they do any harm to him, the entire police force of the district will stand against them.
ASP Arsalan Orders Renewal of Decrepit Cars
ASP Arsalan visits the junk car area of the police station. He calls the expert mechanic and asks him if he could make functional a couple of police mobile vans and bikes. The mechanic takes the challenge but requires some parts to complete the work. ASP Arsalan is shocked and happy to see how the mechanic turns a decrepit bike fully functional.
Peeral Calls The Minister
Peeral is a big player he calls the minister and complains over the posting of ASP Arsalan without informing him. He is irked that a new boy will dictate the state of Jhok Sial. The minister assures him that the ASPs posting is temporary by the top management. He will soon be removed. Peeral further gives him a soft warning that if this doesn’t happen then the party votes will be diverted.

Farhan Saeed showcases his supreme acting chops with aplomb. Apart from emoting through his expression and body language, it was a delight to watch Saeed doing some real action sequences. Brownie points to the action director for realistically choreographing the sequences. Farhan’s voice and the way he faces the camera itself bring life to the character. In fact, a lesser actor would have failed to do justice to this character. His confrontation with Jahan Dad is exemplary. We are in love with Farhan’s new avatar and can’t wait to watch the exciting journey of ASP Arsalan.
