Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival 2019 was an absolute joyride to roll with! After two weekends and dozens of sets, Coachella has finally wrapped up for another year. Reflecting the music industry celebrating sounds from around the world, eclectic outfits and innumerable surprise (read: amazing!) guests – #Coachella2019 certainly lived up to everybody’s expectations.
The festival officially lasted for two glorious weekends – how has time flown by so quick?! – but it seems as if people are still high from that otherworldly musical festival that took place in the gruelling hot and dusty desert grounds of Indio, Calif. From amongst the many headlines that surfaced from those wild weekends that were #Coachella2019, we bring to you our favourite moments:
Hate it, or, love it, but ‘Baby Shark’ is here and it’s definitely here to stay! For reasons unknown, the world can’t seem to get enough it it (and not can we!). Thus, you can well imagine our excitement whilst coming across videos of DJ Jauz playing ‘Baby Shark x Sandstorm’ Mashup. Is it the best thing that we ever heard, or the absolute worst? You decide!
What could be better than grooving to the smash hit of the year that is Taki Taki? Nothing, right? You’re wrong, thought Selena Gomez as she made a surprise appearance beside DJ Snake, Ozuna and Cardi B on stage at Coachella to perform.
Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s performance was an absolute dream come true as the two mega-stars cooed together and gave their audiences eargasms with their sheer talent and massive flow of contagious energy. Such was their performance packed with power that even technical errors were noticed yet forgotten when apparently Minaj lost audio in both ear pieces while performing “Bang Bang.”
As it seems, Ms Grande had many surprise guests show up for her during the first weekend hence she opted for no more shockers during weekend #2. A decision that was short-lived after all, as Justin Bieber popped up on weekend number 2, and had the fans go livid with excitement. Together, they all sang ‘Is It Too Late Now To Say Sorry?’ — and the crowd practically swallowed those moments happily!
Talking about our favourite Coachella moments, amidst the magnificent sets and eccentric personalities all aiming (and succeeding) towards letting themselves loose, we simply cannot ignore the food offered at this crazy, grand occasion. Images of Fruity Pebbles encrusted churros in ice cream, grilled cheese with meat of your choice, pickles and sauteed onions for snacks, and that ultra-famous, hugely loved dish of Spicy Pie pizza are certainly enough to make us book flights to attend Coachella next year.
