Dil-e-Momin is continuing its successful run. The drama is about to get better as Momin’s wedding draws nearer. MAYA GETS IN TOUCH WITH MOMIN
As soon as she finds out Momin came home, Maya calls him but he tells he only came to complain about her to her mother.
MOMIN & MAYA MEET AT HIS OFFICE
Momin wants to talk to Maya about what she said to Jamil the other day in the mall. When she learns that Momin is getting married the next day, she becomes frantic and asks him to confess his love for her. When nothing else works out, Maya locks the door from inside.
MOMIN IS ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY HARASSING MAYA
Hearing the ruckus inside Momin’s office, everyone barges in and finds Momin grabbing Maya’s arm which was his attempt to move her away from the door. When asked, Maya tells the onlookers that Momin called her in his office and told her that he wants to marry her. She also says he has been harassing her. Gohar arrives at that moment and beats Momin up in a fit of rage.
MOMIN FACES IMPRISONMENT
Momin is arrested but it later released because an FIR wasn’t lodged against him or else he would’ve gone to court.
MOMIN GOES MIA
The mehndi festivities are about to begin and Momin is nowhere to be found. His family and Ashi begins to worry about him. Even Jamil becomes suspicious because of Momin’s absence.
MOMIN’S FAMILY FACE RIDICULE BECAUSE OF HIS ACTIONS
The media coverage about Momin’s arrest spreads like wildfire on news channels and social media. Everyone at the event sees the video too. Fari’s in-law’s refuse to marry into a family like that while Jamil’s calls the wedding off as well. Before he leaves, he tells Shahzad that Momin is infact a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Momin’s family is traumatized and is unable to process the whole thing.
OUR VERDICT
The performances in this episode were great especially of Faisal Qureshi, Javed Sheikh and Saba Faisal. The shock, the disbelief on their faces and eyes was portrayed beautifully. The scene in Momin’s office was well directed too.
