The fun and laughter continues in Hum Tum. While Maha(Sarah)and Sarmad(Junnaid)are married now, Adam(Ahad) and Neha(Ramsha)are currently involved in a ‘will they/won’t they’ situation. The four lead actors are doing a superb job but Ramsha Khan and Junaid Khan deserves a special mention. Read onto find out what happened in the latest episode of the show.
Neha is surprised when Adam tells her about Sarim’s(Omar)proposal. She says her father won’t ever take a decision like that without asking her about it. Adam asks her what would have been her answer if Qutubuddin(Adnan)had indeed asked her will. Her silence reveals a lot to both of them.
Maha and Sarmad come home after their rukhsati. Neha is the most emotional at the occasion and hugs Maha the longest.
Maha has an allergic reaction to the flower décor in her room. Sarmad tells her he had no idea about it to which Maha says Adam knows about it since he is the one who got her medicine for it. Adam also ends up losing the keys to Maha’s suitcase. This convinces Maha that Adam is planning to hurt her. Neha’s words further confirm her doubts.
Neha can see her father is sad. She asks him why must daughters leave. He says that’s how society works. He then says this is why he wanted to have a son because daughters leave. He also asks her about Sarim’s proposal to which Neha says she is just obedient likeMaha and gives him the go ahead to take the decision of her life without asking for it.
That night, Neha cries while thinking about her father’s words. She says when a daughter hears her father wish he had a son, a girl breaks apart into a million pieces and wishes she wasn’t born this way. A truly powerful scene. Ramsha Khan was outstanding in this scene.
The next morning, Neha tells Maha about Sarim’s proposal. She tells her Sarim loves her which is why he wants to marry her while Adam listens on from a distance. There’s a sign of sadness on his face but he doesn’t act on it.
