The changing quality of Pakistani dramas has made one more person upset over it’s declining sense of wrongfulness. Recently in a show called G Sarkar, the famous actress Iffat Omar opened up about leaving the entertainment industry. Iffat Omar quits acting and the reasons she talked about are very valid and reasonable.
What Iffat Omar Thinks..
The famous Pakistani actress talked about how she took a break from the industry after her marriage around her most successful stage in industry. And now when she came back to industry, she is not content with the roles and protocols she’s getting. She talked about new actors and actresses looking down on their seniors and not respecting them at all.
Moreover, she said that Pakistani dramas are not her cup of tea anymore and she do not even watch them anymore. And that she has started watching international shows and seasons.

Her statement from the show is given here; ” I first took break because of my marriage, at that time I had to prove my self a good housewife, it was my priority, I left showbiz on peak and now I started from mothers’ roles, and I am not enjoying at all because of bad work, I think have quit the showbiz because I am not happy with the current dramas at all , I cant even watch these dramas , I am sorry. Pakistani dramas are not of my type, I watch international shows”.
While we are absorbing the fact that Iffat Omar quits acting, she continued going on with her bold and open statements about the industry and also mentioned that maybe she will consider doing a drama if she comes across any extraordinary and very well written script. But with some conditions she mentioned, a room of her own, a pay package and the same protocol which the main leads receive. Otherwise, she said she’s better off out of this toxic industry.
