So, the Oscars 2018 finally took centre stage at the Dolby Theatre that was bursting with stars glowing with glamour, first time nominees and prepared speeches. The night had its high’s and its low’s, hilarious to awkward moments and some memorable ones. So here’s a breakdown of a few of our favourite moments that got us going.

Oscars 2018 awards are long so Jimmy Kimmel had to pull an original stunt and decided to offer a Jet Ski to the winner who would give the shortest speech. Guess who presented the prize?

Tiffany Hadish had a dream come true when she spotted Meryl Streep in the front row and while presenting an Oscar award, she found the best opportunity to speak with her idol. Haddish pounced, saying from the stage, I want you to be my mama one day!

Probably this moment was not given much limelight but the four actresses who lost to Frances McDormand shared a moment at the end of the Oscar award ceremony and gathered for a group hug on stage because they were invited on stage for a moment of recognition for their fine work.
