Over the years we’ve seen some interesting Pakistani onscreen couple debuts, while some fizzled out, then there were those we couldn’t help but root for. But what does it take it take to make a hit Pakistani onscreen couple? Apart from getting immersed into the character, to have chemistry means to be non-judgmental, have some kind similarity, mystery, attraction, mutual trust, and effortless communication, which, we guess, has worked for some of our debut Pakistani onscreen couples.
IMRAN ASHRAF & URWA HOCANE
At first it sounded like an odd pairing, however the minute Imran Ashraf and Urwa Hocane came together on screen, there was an instant chemistry, two polar opposites (like their characters in Mushk and probably in real life) came together to explode. And to me this was perhaps one of the best Pakistani onscreen couple debuts in a long time. Super psyched for their next project.
FEROZE KHAN & IQRA AZIZ
Feroze Khan and Iqra Aziz have thrilled the audiences because these two actors are such a breath of fresh air whilst bringing their take on spirituality and romance in Khuda or Mohabbat 3. These two fabulous actors have managed to spark some great onscreen chemistry which is why everyone’s rooting for them.
USMAN MUKHTAR & MAHIRA KHAN
Usman Mukhtar and Mahira Khan have a very tangible effect when it comes to their affection for each other in Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay and we’re so glad that we’ve found a new onscreen couple – thanks to HUMTv. Usman Mukhtar is romancing and Mahira Khan is portraying a simple and no makeup look, hence we get to witness a new pair fill up the space as these two stand tall as a new lead.

ALI REHMAN KHAN & SARAH KHAN
Two very good looking human beings have come together in Laapata and their fans are gushing over Falak and Shams’s sweet moments together. Their interaction onscreen gives a whole meaning to their characters and that’s one of the reasons why we love their new onscreen couple.

In spite of who Bilal Abbas ended up with in Dunk, we will stick to the fact that watching Sana Javed with Bilal Abbas made a refreshing pair.
