I love summers. You heard me, unlike so many people living in the scorching heat, I am one who enjoys everything in summers. Be it drinking cold water, swimming, the variety of fruits and vegetables, dressing up, flip flops, summer is just my favorite. BTW
As far as dressing up is concerned, I love lawn, not necessarily the prints, but the fabric is definitely my favorite. I am a minimalist when it comes to clothes and accessories, and I do not pile on stuff just so something or the other works in my look (wink wink). When I saw this fresh yellow matching separates piece at BTW Pakistan, I knew this is my perfect lunch outfit. The white on yellow thread work gives it a semi formal look, and the pink embroidery on shoulders and trouser lift it up even more for a formal lunch (move aside silk tunics and ugly prints). I especially loved the light fabric and old school kurta style fabric buttons on one side. Pairing it with tan heels, a plain matching shoulder bag and just a few gold accessories completed the look for me. Summer, how I love thee…
