For the past few years, Ramzan has gradually moved from the comfort of winter to autumn and now falls in summer. Fret not, as we have come up with a few healthy drinks to cool you down, whilst satiating your thirst, to keep you hydrated and fresh all summer. Drawing from the wisdom of our elders, we suggest that you break your fast with a glass of water. Substitute your ritual iftar doodh soda with a chilled glass of lassi. Yogurt is great at filling you up, is full of probiotics that help produce Vitamin K and Vitamin B12. Lassi, unlike doodh soda, will quench your thirst. Having very sweet drinks tends to make us thirsty, so ditch the soda and opt for a lassi and if you still prefer something sweet, you can always add a bit of sugar to your lassi.
