Every year the Pakistan Fashion Design Council Sunsilk Weeks brings all the top and burgeoning designers, stylists, and hair and makeup artists under one roof to showcase their best for the new season. And this year we got to see our favourite designers with their best runaway looks at SPSFW19. With an eclectic mix of runway collections, there was a little something for everyone this season. So here are the top trends we noticed so you drive some inspiration.

That is exactly what fashion should be, comfortable, because anything that makes you feel good about yourself becomes a part of your personality, and as a result, you look stylish. A lot of major line ups at #PSFW19 exuded just that and as a result made their collections a hit. From Nomi Ansari’s collab with Tuhura Athletics promoting active wear both as trending fashion and comfort, to So Kamal’s spin to traditional wear with a sporty chic look, Chapter 2 and Zaha flaunting boho vibes to Auqafina’s rising talent, Hana and her flowy pieces. PFDCs 20th fashion week had major stylish and comfortable moments that we’d all love to invest in.

Every designer has been embracing stripes and statement prints. So our favourite designers were not shy to mix the spring/ summer 2019 prints and patterns together in outfits, so we saw some serious power clashing on all days of #PSFW19. A lot of these print trends have sprewed from our designers affinity for travel, leisure and wistfulness towards more bohemian times with some tie-dye. Animal prints which have been trendy for a few seasons now, have made their place this year also with a retro take on polka dots splashed in cool ways.

This season at #PSFW19 our designers were and stylists played around with everything bold, colourful and beautiful. So they chose to flaunt anything that stood out from conspicuous hair accessories like big headbands, colorful scarves, statement jewelry, fancy hair pins and ornamental customised belts.

Braids and the sleek hair do look is in. So keep your hair straighteners in handy this season whereas braids have made it BIG and are the most trending style right now.

Spring is all about vibrance, just packed with colours which  mean pastels—shades of yellow, green, pink, blue, and purple that cleanse the palate after months of black, brown, navy, mustard, and burgundy. However the colour trend report at #PSFW was into golden yellows, lime greens, and bright oranges instead with everything else that goes in between. We saw all the colours fire up on the runaway on this 3-day fashion extravaganza.
