Pantene Hum Bridal Couture Week 2018 has come to a whooping close but that doesn’t mean we are done talking about some of the most epic collections we saw during the three days. The entire fashion week was an amalgamation of fashion and glamour mixed with the entertainment industry. Most of the collections we saw had some exquisite fashion perfect for the festive season. However, some stood out more than others. Here are the top designer we loved plus some of the snippets from the show that will make you feel like you were there yourself!
Meeras by Nilofer Shahid is an icon for a reason. Her festive collection Badshah Begum was an ode to the late Nur Jehan showcasing a combination of traditional techniques over wearable ensembles. The showstoppers for her collection were Qasim Yar Tiwana and Mawra Hocane. Her collection had unique craftsmanship and definitely stole our hearts! The color palate showcased lemons, oranges and silver tones. The collection was inherently traditional and featured music by Nur Jehan. Watching the collection was sheer joy because of the music itself! They focused more on heavy jewellery to complete the bridal look unlike others. All in all it was one of the best collections from Day 1 because of the exquisite handwork that truly focused on the craftsmanship.
