The holy month of Ramzan is the time to exercise self-control and show compassion towards the less fortunate. This blessed month is a month of intense prayer and devotion to the Almighty from dawn till dusk, and purifies our souls, thus giving meaning to our commitments towards Allah.

To endow our respect towards Ramzan and its bounties, commercial brands use this holy month as a pretext to advertise the true spirit of Ramzan and spread messages of love, empathy and togetherness through heart-warming campaigns. So, we wanted to share some of the most popular Ramzan campaigns from last year 2017 and 2018 to evoke the true meaning of Ramzan.

MEZAN (2018)

This TVC is quite emotional, and even though it’s not as strong, but perfectly emotes the essence of the brand. The message, connection with the audience, and the theme were on point, and we thought that the Mezan ad was thoroughly well-executed and well-planned – the one that would connect with every woman who’s a mother.


Surf Excel was successful in sparking a deep-rooted emotion in this touching ad and have always come up with powerful ads that contain beautiful messages. The ad encourages unity amongst siblings and families. A much needed message in such trying times, perhaps!

COCA COLA (2018)

When it comes to making attention grabbing television advertisements, its hard to beat a company like Coca-Cola. With perfectly penned lyrics, music and composition, artists and conceptualization, all in all Coke does it again this time with yet an other brilliant concept ”Ramzan ki rehmat ko berhayen, aao jama kerein #EidiForEdhi with Coca-Cola’s #BottleOfChange”. The idea of giving it back sold it completely, all set to trend.


Iftaar is incomplete without a refreshing glass of ‘Lal Sherbet’, and last year Qarshi’s Jam e Shirin made an amazing ad by showing acts of selflessness and by giving people, so people can initiate by practicing it more especially in this holy month.

ROOH AFZA (2017)

The well thought-out ad campaign of Rooh Afza shares the true message of Ramzan. The ad gives us lessons of togetherness, teaching by example, sharing and gratitude. It’s the people that bring such qualities to life, and the little boy in the TVC, through his innocence and attributes, depicts his ture nature, which is nurtured by his adoring grandfather.


This selfless act of little Shahid will make you appreciate the true spirit of Ramzan and was one of the favourite TVC’s of all the kids last year. The idea of helping each other is beautifully executed with a background score that is equally touching.
