Quite often we have seen dramas beginning on a good note but after five episodes or so the plot begins to make you sleepy as the story just seems to be revolving around in a circle but with Yeh Dil Mera despite having been on air for the past 6 weeks one is not getting bored at all as every week the story moves ahead at a steady pace allowing us to dive in to the complexed world of Aman , Noor aka Aina and Farooq Zaman bit by bit .
Written by Farhat Ishtiaq , last night the episode was actually a enjoyable watch as it focused more on the relationship between Aman and Noor who have fallen in love but despite us seeing him woo Noor his expressions made us realize that there is more to the story that meets the eye as don’t forget Yeh Dil Mera is all about love , loss and revenge.
So what latest development took place last night ? Well let us break it down for you in case you missed it.

AMAN HELPS NOOR TO DEAL WITH CLAUSTROPHOBIA
Now we all know that Noor is scared of confined spaces as seen last week but yesterday Aman makes her go in to a lift with him to help her overcome her fears by constantly consoling her . Now we know you must be thinking well that is very sweet of him and we agree but while in the lift the expressions on his face switched from concern to harshness very quickly and that was where we realized that he knows why Noor is claustrophobic but is not telling her the reason nor revealing that he knows things about her which her over protective father has concealed from her.

NOOR IS HAPPY AND THAT CONCERNS FAROOQ
Adnan Siddiqui is playing the complexed Farooq with ease and the one thing which we love is the on screen chemistry he shares with Sajal because he portrays the father – daughter bond beautifully and the comfort which these too actors share helps the audience to form a emotional bond with them. But coming back to the story, Farooq is possessive but seeing his daughter tackling her fear with a smile has made him see that something is different where she is not involving him but instead of being angry he understands his daughter and allows her space to deal with her emotions on her own which we thought was quite a modern step to show in a drama as it guides fathers that once daughters grow up they do need to sort things out themselves and one should have faith in them to do so wisely.

ROMANCE IS IN THE AIR
One of the main focus last night was the love brewing between Noor and Aman as both are now friendly and with Aman clearly telling her that he wants to marry her we see the coming episodes of the drama be a little light hearted before the harsh reality begins to sink in. With Aman having sent a proposal too with his uncle for Noor, both are thrilled and are waiting to hear Farooq’s decision which we think will take place soon since Aman is indeed a very good catch.

AMAN IS CONNECTED TO NARGIS BUA
Now where we thought that the story would be between him and Noor, the writer even then gave us a insight in to Amans past as when he sees Bua Ji, he stands in awe and emotion that makes him teary eyed, which made us think that she could have been a part of his childhood as a caretaker, but she doesn’t remember who he is and this might be take on an interesting angle later in the episodes.

OUR FINAL THOUGHTS ON YEH DIL HAI MERA EP#6
Over all, we liked episode 6 as it was a perfect blend of mystery and romance but more than that the scene which stole our heart was when Farhan Ali Aghas character defends his daughter after finding out that Aman loves Noor as he tells his wife who is deeply hurt as she wanted Aman to be her son in law that their daughter was unique as well as beautiful and not having the boy of their choice did not mean that there was no one else in the world for her and to wish ill for others to satisfy ones desire was a selfish act not to be relied upon.
So besides a unique story, Yeh Dil Mera which by the way after a while was also well edited by director Ahson Talish also gives the audience some helpful life advices while also saying that mental issues are not something to be ashamed of but to be dealt with wisely and confidently.

PREDICTION: EP #7, YEH DIL MERA
Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir are the highlight of the drama for sure as from their dialogue delivery to expressions all are very natural and next week in the teaser we saw Aman go in to one of his moods which makes him be rude to Noor once she calls him at night . A complicated character , Ahad is at his finest in Yeh Dil Mera and next week we have a hunch that he will reveal a darker side to Noor but will that scare her or love him more is what we cant wait to see !
