YEH DIL MERA EP#8 WAS MUCH MORE THAN JUST BRILLIANT PERFORMANCES

Yeh Dil Mera is not some run-of-the-mill show, it has drama, intrigue, love and thrill sown at it’s core, and this weeks episode proved to be a bit of everything as expected.
Romance, mystery, jealousy and child hood trauma, the Yeh Dil Mera is a sign of mature writing which deals with pertinent issues sensitively. With much emphasis on the well being of a healthy mind, last nights episode showcased some powerful performances by Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly and Adnan Siddiqui. From their body language and expressions, the trio blew us away and glued us to the screens till the very end.
Written by Farhat Ishtiaq and directed by Ahson Talish, last nights episode of Yeh Dil Mera saw Noor aka Ana and Aman’s affections run deep for each other, but that’s not all. Here’s what happened!

.

NOOR’S NIGHTMARES KEEP RETURNING TO HAUNT HER

Just when we thought that Noor is well as she is in love, the nightmares return, however instead of Agha Jaan, Noor turns towards Aman and he comes running to make sure she’s okay which was sweet to see. Essaying such a difficult role is not an easy task but Sajal manages to play the character with ease as in the scene where she is pouring her heart out to Aman. Sajal’s performance was more than real, au-natural and you can’t help but feel helpless for Noor and applaud for Sajal.

.

AMAN DISCOVERS A NEW SIDE TO NOOR

Having thought that he was the only one dealing with his trauma, along comes Noor who is the same as him but with her telling Aman about her nightmare we did discover that a murder was involved which scares her. Now was the murdered person Aman’s mother or sister, is what we cant figure out at the moment. Ahad just like Sajal looses himself in the role as in the scene where he was consoling Noor, the concern on his face was genuine as he was trying to be strong but yet at the same time was feeling helpless too and those emotions the actor portrayed brilliantly.

.

FAROOQ IS A NO-NONSENSE MAN

The third actor who outshined himself last night was Adnan Siddiqui as he plays the ruthless Mir Farooq Zaman perfectly. From a loving father to a ruthless lover, Farooq put Saira in her place last night as she demanded to be more visible to the world as his wife, but not having any of that he made sure she knew the benefits which were provided by him to her. Having felt sorry for her we have a feeling that she along with Aman will topple Farooq as like any other woman she has had enough of him.

.

THERE IS NO SHAME IN THERAPY

With Noor and Farooq back at the therapist, this scene always wins us over as it shows having therapy is completely normal and the doctor at hand is not a devil but an educated person who is there to help you. With the versatile Muhammad Ahmad playing this part , the story developed a bit more as he too realizes that Farooq is not being honest even with him regarding Noor’s childhood .

.

SIDDYSAYS PREDICTS: EP# 9, YEH DIL MERA

With the story moving ahead at a steady pace, we think that next week a lot of important things will unfold as Aman decides to take Noor out alone and the way Farooq is seen trying to tell him that his daughter is not psychotic we look forward to finding out how Aman will handle such a difficult situation .
An intriguing script with a lot of thrill within, Yeh Dil Mera next week is is not to be missed!
