Maria B has been making a lot of noise with the multitude of collections she has been launching left and right. Just recently, she launched her latest MBroidered collection (which you might remember from the giveaway we did). And now, bang in the midst of the crazzzy lawn season, Maria B. has just launched her lawn collection. Urwa and Mawra Hocane who recently walked the finale for Maria’s bridal show recently return as the faces of the lawn campaign.
For this season’s lawn campaign the brand has aimed to incorporate embroideries and designs that draw inspiration from vintage French embroidery, Greek emblems and damasks. Design work also includes elements from Mughal artwork traditional Lakhnavi prints and Indian Chickankari. It does seem that chickankari might be the ‘it’ thing again this season, though time will tell.
The Maria B lawn collection this time comprises of 15 unique designs in 3 pieces suits and kurtis featuring prints on Egyptian Giza lawn, embroidered lawn and jacquard lawn. For the color palate, the colors are mostly reminiscent of spring and also use mild hues, beiges and greys. The embellishments have sequins laces and borders with embroideries. All suits in the lawn collection have digitally printed dupattas, printed pure silk and pure silk chiffon. The price range is diverse starting from PKR 2900 to PKR 6390.

Lawn 2015 consists of diverse designs and colours which we feel will provide a new look to our fashion savvy customers. Our design work and prints are inspired by motifs and patterns from centuries-old civilizations providing a fusion of cultures and adding a timeless element to the designs. We were also very selective about the fabrics we chose. We wanted fabrics of the finest quality to complement our designs and give our lawn the kind of quality that our customers expect from the brand.
