They really make the effort and hard work worth it. At the HUM Awards last week, I styled my friends Sajal, Junaid and Feroze. Here is a break down of their looks. Sajal Ali
A lot of people tell me Sajal looks older than her age, and its partially because as a TV actor you need to do roles that add years to you, and partially because until recently, Sajal hadn’t experimented with her looks. We chose Khaadi Khaas to make a custom dress for Sajal. We wanted to mix the ethnic with the western, and this fully embroidered black on black dress with hand woven sleeves and a studded belt was simple, elegant and very young. We kept the hair simple and make up light as we did not want to over do the look. The fold earrings by Zarq and Gold sandals by Julke balanced off the all black look while keeping the gold in proportion. Since Sajal is very petite we kept aa bit of flare volume in the dress to accentuate her curves.
Overall one of my most favorite looks ever as a stylist.
