Hardly anyone knows about Hadiqa Kiani’s first marriage. She is one of the best vocalists in the Pakistani music industry. She has a fine, happy face and a remarkable personality. But, her relationship life was still unknown by the media. She hardly gives any interviews. But, recently she appeared in Good Morning Pakistan as a guest to Nida Yasir on ARY Digital. This was probably the first time when all of us got to know about Hadiqa Kiani’s first marriage.
Hadiqa Kiani’s First Marriage In Her Own Words
This is what Hadiqa Kiani had to say about her first marriage and her relationship with her husband. “My first marriage was completely an arranged marriage. He was a 3D animator. He was making my video in the ’90s and he fell in love with me. One of our common friends helped him to send a proposal for me. My family agreed to the proposal because they were already looking for a proposal for me.”
She further added, “The major collapse in my marriage was his mother, she had a problem with my music. We lived together for 5.5 years and after that, we parted ways. The biggest mistake I made in my life was that when I was engaged to him I wasn’t much happy and satisfied with it but during this period he tried to attempt suicide which changed my mind. I thought that a person who’s trying to kill himself in fear of losing me, will surely take care of me for my whole life but this wasn’t the reality. From the first day of our marriage, till we separated, I was just pleasing him”
She confessed, “It was a very difficult time in my life. After our separation, I was still waiting for him to come back so that I can forgive him but unfortunately things didn’t settle down.”
These confessions showcase how she coped with the relationship against her satisfaction. But, she endured the pain of getting separated from her husband. Recently, she has stepped into acting with projects like Raqeeb Se and Dobara. Her choice of playing a role in Dobara, somehow, is a reflection of her own life. She has also adopted a son, Naad-e-Ali. Hadiqa’s life circles around him and her love for music.
