One thing that we have seen evolving in the recent fashion shows is the emphasis on the footwear which is of extreme importance and should not be ignored at any cost. After all, we have witnessed the innumerable fumbling and stumbling walks on the ramp locally and globally. One such brand that has been associated with fashion is none other than Borjan who are raising the bar with each passing year.
Borjan partnered with the PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2017 as the official footwear collaborator for all the three days. It was a great opportunity for all the fashion aficionados to experience Borjan’s latest range of chic and stylish shoes. The models seemed at ease and sauntered the ramp confidently and with grace. Borjan truly leads the fashion and that too in style.
Borjan added a distinct element to how footwear is worn. The collection unveils smart looks with additional embellishments that took the spotlight. The shoes are exciting with succulent colors inspired from a garden party ; the designer experimented with nature inspired elements. Contemporary techniques such as laser cut, lush materials in shimmers and metallic were seen making waves on the ramp. Covering all heights and new styles Borjan is well aware of how to put their best foot forward.
The entire collection was shortlisted by the PFDC council and then was forwarded to the designers on board. Designers pre booked the shoes with sizes by visiting the Borjan outlets in order to find the perfect shoe to their attire. All articles were then pre arranged and handed over to designers at the Expo Centre. The backstage proved to be really busy for Borjan. The entire look was reviewed thoroughly prior the showcase. Putting up a magnum opus show with 450 pair of ladies and 350 for men’s footwear was no easy task.
