As a big Bollywood buff, there’s no piece of Bollywood gossip or news we are unaware of. As a result of our obsession of all things movie, we are often inspired by the style of Bollywood actors.
We have to be honest, there aren’t that many celebrities who have major sartorial power. It’s usually the laid-back ensembles of Anushka Sharma or the contemporary, yet eclectic outfits of Alia Bhatt which we have developed a liking to, but recently there’s another kid on the block who has been capturing our attention; Athiya Shetty.
Whilst her acting debut may not have packed a punch, Athiya’s style is definitely on point. As proof, here’s looking at one of her recent looks, which was a favourite. Athiya first wore this beautiful Zara denim off-shoulder to a restaurant, with loose palazzos, sandals and a chic pulled-back hairdo. We loved the laid-back, yet sophisticated look, which oozed effortlessness.
Not afraid to wear the same piece out twice, Athiya was seen sporting the same top with distressed white jeans. This time the look was a lot more casual, but still uber-stylish. Her beige sandals and the military green fringed bucket bag were winning accessories. Oh, and how can we forget those perfect cat-eyed sunglasses.
We wouldn’t be surprised if we see Athiya wearing this top again, and stilling earning all the rave reviews from the fashion critics. Maybe it’s time to purchase a class off-shoulder piece too; after all, this piece has now achieved ‘wardrobe-staple’ status.
