The origin of the ‘six word story’ can be traced back to way before the digital age.  It is narrated that a youngster called Ernest Hemingway once claimed that he could write a complete story in only six words. His colleagues disagreed, and each one of them bet $10 against the claim. Ernest Hemingway wrote the six-word-story on a napkin, passed it around and won all the bets.
