[tps_header]Last night, the biggest fashion fundraiser on this planet took Hollywood, Music, Fashion and the world of Art by storm with the most coveted faces dressed up to the nines to raise money for the Met’s Costume Institute and celebrate a colossal opening of their newest exhibition. What we saw was a befitting rendition of the night’s theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination because it is customary to give ode to the Met’s theme. Since the idea was to understand the impact of the Catholic Church has had on the fashion designers, they went all out to showcase their best creations, especially when it came to “head pieces”. Is there ANYTHING that this gorgeous woman cannot pull off? Well, I couldn’t breathe for once when I saw her in this exquisite Versace gown with a bejeweled bodice and long skirt. And everything else that she paired with her gown looked royal, especially that headpiece which was a Lorraine Schwartz jewelry custom-made halo with over 100 carats of nude champagne diamonds. Phew!
